Client Mashup

Oprah Winfrey, the first black woman to appear on Forbes' billionaire list, is the ultimate multimedia icon. The stakes couldn’t be higher for Ms. Winfrey and the coterie of television veterans that has assembled around her. For someone who has enjoyed outsize victories in almost every venture she has pursued, OWN will be the ultimate test of her power.[1]
Lady Gaga and Zynga today announced a partnership to launch the mega-artist’s new album “Born this Way.”[2]
Even in the OTT insanity that is Las Vegas, Lady GaGa stands out a mile. Dressed in a Thierry Mugler-inspired black rubber dress adorned with gold origami pyramids, stupendously long false eyelashes, crystal-encrusted sunglasses and impossibly high heels, she cuts quite a figure as she wanders past the agog gamblers.[3]
Currently No 5 in the Billboard Hot 100 with Just Dance, she is also the recent recipient of a Grammy nomination. In the UK, she has been tipped in the influential BBC Sound of 2009 poll. If all goes according to her pop masterplan, she is set to be a huge act next year.
But if Jobs is the public keeper of Apple's design zeitgeist, then Ive is the private leader of its talented design team. "Apple is a cult, and Apple's design team is an even more intense version of a cult," notes Riley. Actually, it's not a big cult -- just a dozen people or so. But they operate at an extremely high level, both individually and as a group. Ive has said that many Apple products were dreamed up while eating pizza in the small kitchen at the team's design studio.[4]
