Balsa wood truss bridge that i built in year 12 in engineering studies. The bridge weighed in at 45g and withstood a force of 60 kg before snapping. The creativity factor was employing a number of cross latching pieces instead of the conventional build which allowed for more force distribution.
Not yet built, however the idea has been put fourth by a company called 'Dynamic Architecture'. The idea is of a rotating skyscraper that would harness the winds energy to power turbines and provide electricity to various aspects of the building.
